Featuring a very handsome period French Empire free standing Cheval mirror. The mirror frame and stand are made of solid mahogany. The frame consists of two turned columns mounted on top of sweeping legs terminating in lions paw feet. The top crest rail and lower rail are both adorned with bronze mounts as are the flanking capitals mounted with bronze floral urns. The entire unit is finished in a highly French polished lacquer finish. The back is covered in a green and gold fabric. The mirror itself is mounted in side the frame via a pair of bronze butterfly bolts. The unit is in good condition considering it's age, and is stable. The item is mounted on the bottom with four rolling castors.
