This is a handsome and completely restored American Federal convex bullseye gilt mirror. Features a wood carved perched eagle over flanking acanthus foliage, interior circular spheres, ebonized reeded ring, and terminating at bottom with acanthus floral pendant. The original looking glass. As mentioned I fully restored this mirror and gilded it with 23k Italian gold leaf. This is the finest example of the iconic federal mirror. American Circa 1820-1830.
