About Me
MY NAME IS David
I began my journey in the world of restoration in 1993. I apprenticed at a German Restoration shop in Maryland when I was 17 years old. That summer job led to a full-fledged career in Washington, D.C. in 1994, after graduating from High school. I put art college on hold and started working for foreign embassies, design firms, and other connected families in Washington. Eventually, working my way into the White House. For the next 30 years, Clients and projects took me all over D.C., Northern Virginia, Maryland, Baltimore, Philadelphia, NYC, and New England. After COVID, I decided it was time to leave the East Coast, so I closed my showroom and studio and relocated to downtown Nashville in November 2022, where I have now established myself firmly in Nashville’s up-and-coming Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood.
