Featured is a gorgeous set of four of French Provincial style ladder back dining or kitchen chairs with hand-woven rush seating. The front legs are turned and connects ted to the rear legs with turned leg stretchers. The center is supported with a third turned stretcher. The chairs are constructed of cherry fruitwood. The hand woven rush seats are in excellent condition with no damage. This Classic set of French country chairs were likely produced between 1940-1960. The arms and legs are all tight with no structural issues. This is characteristic of French-made furniture. The timeless design is very versatile and will show well in any space. This particular set is unique for the legs and feet. These are more commonly seen with cabriolet legs where as in this set is straight turned legs. This subtle difference really makes these chairs pop.
