This is a one of a kind pair of 18th century English knife boxes both are fitted with sterling silver hardware. Resting on top of sterling silver claw on ball feet, silver pulls and a highly decorative etched silver escutcheons on the front. The mahogany exterior is decorated with hand painted ribbons and grapevines. The interiors have been fitted for storage.
